I've never tried Inktober before. Not sure I'll make it to 31, but I'm going to try.
I plan to draw Halloween candy for all of my sketches. I'll admit that it is odd that I chose candy as a subject. I'd like to say I'm not much of a candy eater (although I eat more than I generally admit to). And I'm actually not much of a fan of the whole Halloween "season."
However, the ease of access and relatively low cost of references, simple shapes, bright colors, and variety appealed to me. I know there's an official Inktober prompt list (and other competing prompt lists), but I can too easily get bogged down in what to draw or creative ways to interpret prompts, and all of that is far too time consuming for me to try to do it daily.
